My name is Larry Botchway and I am an enthusiastic, aspiring Architect currently at Part 1 level.

I completed my Bachelors Degree in Architecture, in the University of Portsmouth. Since then I have practiced architecture in Mallorca (Spain), with Miquel Lacomba Architects and then GRAS Architects.

I am an enthusiastic hard working architecture student with a keen eye to detail and skills ranging from hand drawing and modelling to Computer-Aided Design. Confident in a range of software including Auto CAD, Revit, Google Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

I believe Spirit of the place (or Genius Loci), relation to surroundings and environments are all key factors within architecture. I feel these concepts ensures that the built structure is in harmony with its surroundings and in turn the climatic influences can also be managed.

My passion for design does not stop at architecture. As you may have seen from my website, I have a keen interest in many types of design including Product, Fashion and Graphic Design. I feel that all aspects of design can be fused to strengthen one another.
